Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Safari acting up

After the latest update (15.3), Safari has trouble accessing some sites, either it hangs or it's very slow.


I've trashed the Preferences, and cleared cookies and caches, but the problem remains.


My other browsers work fine. The only thing I can think of is that the update introduced a bug.

1. Quit Safari, launch Safari holding the Shift key down.

2. Startup in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac.

3. Clear History

Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

    Please read the article before clearing history, 

    this is like a low level resetting of Safari without affecting passwords and bookmarks.
