I have a pre owned iPhone that I am trying to set up for my sons new phone. However it looks like the phone has the previous owner iTunes account attached to the device and I cannot complete the transfer, how can I complete the set up please?

Hi,
if the iPhone has iCloud Activation lock on it, you cannot set it up without the previous owner deleting it from their Apple ID.
So you have to contact them and ask to delete it from there, then it should work.

i assume they just go into their iTunes account and delete that phone?
