Cellular Data/Mobile Data not working on iOS 15

I have a 12 pro max which i bought last year, everything was working just fine in it until i encountered this issue where my cellular data doesnt work on safari, youtube, youtube music, gmail, outlook mail, social media etc. These apps all work perfectly fine on wifi. I would have enough bars of service to run these apps but they just would not be connecting. I spoke to apple and they told me to contact my service provider. I contacted my service provider and we went through a couple troubleshoots, but that didnt fix it. I was adivised to go to a local tmobile store. The local tmobile store solved part of the problem in the case that my sim card was outdated for the new 5G iphone causing a misconnectiom between the towers and the phone data. That solved the problem for a couple seconds and then it went back to the same issue. I went to apple genius bar and the guy there told me that i had data roaming on. I tried to show him that wasnt the problem but he was being to arrogant and overconfident in himself and didnt listen to me. I Did possibly ever single type of fix on my Iphone to resolve any type of issue with cellular data and it remains the same. I doubt there is any hope left, but if you have experienced this and know how to actually deal with it please respond to this post. I have included photos

I have the same problem - been trying for 3 weeks to fix to no avail. Apple are not willing to investigate beyond their regular diagnosis and t-mobile are clueless. The strange thing is that all apps work perfectly on WiFi. It is only when on cellular data that these apps stop working.

If anyone was able to solve this and can share any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

It clearly says you are not connected to the internet. Being connected to the WiFi does not mean you are connected to the internet.

Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

  1. If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
  2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

Hi Ismailtur,

I solved the problem. Since the apps that work on wifi dont work on Mobile/Cellular data, I tried this and strange enough this technique was no where to be found online. All I did was, Open an app with wifi on, then from control center disconnect wifi, and the cellular data should reconnect by itself. I think what this did was force cellular data to reconnect, Also if you have an iphone that requires 5G, talk to your service provider because they have released new SIM cards that are meant to perform better with 5G compatible phones. I’ve provided images to show you how i solved the issue.
