Connected to Wifi but no WLAN symbol on the home screen: How to get Data connection for some apps with IOS 15.3.1?

My phone connects to my Wifi but does not display the WLAN symbol in the home screen.

I already tried everything, resetting the phone, updating to IOS 15.3.1, disconnecting Wifi...

Some Apps also do not work (mobile banking, WhatsApp, Zoom,...) neither in Wifi nor LTE. Others (Safari, Instagram, mail,...) work fine.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 7

make sure you don’t have any vpn. Connection or any security apps

setting > general > VPN and device management erase any profile

make rest network setting

setting > general > rest or transfer iPhone > rest > rest network setting

to make sure all your apps working in cellular go to settings > ceullar > scroll down make sure all apps are green

Thank you so much, days of searching are over.

Even though all VPNs were disabled that seems to have done the trick.

I resetted the network settings already a couple of times.
