I have tried putting the Apple TV on the same network segment and it will not pair with the system with Configurator on it. Without being able to pair it, the 4K Apple TV does not have any other way to put it into the system. So my question is HOW to add a 4K HD Apple TV to configurator? It comes with a lighting cable but has not lightening/USB connections.

Thanks, I had not gotten that far to look at the remote. My issue is getting it connected to Apple School Manager/Configurator when I can't plug the device into the computer that has Configurator. Per all the instructions, it should pair if on the same network segment. It does not, so at a loss on how to get it to talk to Configurator to get it into the systems. We usually purchase from a vendor that uploads our purchases to Apple School Manager, but the purchasing agent wasn't thinking and purchased from a different vendor that does not upload.
if it was me then I would reach out to apple support, not sure many of us users use the stuff like Apple School Manager/Configurator
I don’t know about Apple School Manager,
but the Lightning cable is for charging the Siri Remote, not for connections between the box and other equipment.
