Wallet icon has a notification but what for?

I see the badge with a “1” in it on the Wallet app icon

i open the wallet and see the cards, tickets, vaccine card records…

How do YOU know what the notification is for?

Me, I click each item in the wallet looking for a possible reason for the notification. And of course it is the last one I look at, and I notice I need to verify the card with my bank. But there is nothing there to call out that this one card was the problem. Nothing in the UI at all. Isn’t that weird?

That looks like something useful for developers/product managers so thanks for sharing it @SravanKrA, but it’s not a solve for the Apple iOS user themselves (at very least unless the developer makes some changes to their app or back end supporting infrastructure maybe)

The bottom line just now is that this is a bad user experience for Apple users. It shouldn’t be acceptable really. A “1” notification badge on the Wallet app icon gives only an indication that something needs doing in the wallet. Within the wallet today I see numerous items, but not one indication that any particular one of the items needs any actual action taken.
