Very Long delay in receiving voicemail

I have an iphone and AT&T. Voicemails normally take 10 minutes to come through and often many hours. Today mine took 3 hours. I saw from an old question that this happens with many different carriers and only with iphones. Has anyone at Apple worked out how to fix this issue yet? It is clear to me its Apple related.

According to the forum it is a problem across carriers. I have Tracphone Verizon. voicemail delays Since the latest updates, I'm having trouble receiving voicemail messages. They arrive 2-3 days later than sent. Is anyone experiencing this? Any solution suggestions?

Delayed Voicemail on iPhone 12 Pro Max For a couple of months my voicemails have been delayed by a few hours in showing up on my iPhone but within the last few weeks they are being delayed by 5-7 days. There are no carrier updates available and I cannot get my voicemail to refresh on my phone. I know I have about 8 voicemails I haven’t yet received, the oldest of which is from 7 days ago. Has anyone else had and been able to resolve this issue?

Voicemail is a carrier feature.

The cellular carriers control the voicemail servers and the network.
