Apple Pencil tip wearing down too fast

Hi all,

I did some research on this last night and it does seem related to my Paperlike screen protector, however, prior to knowing this I took my pencil to the Apple Shop on Saturday and had the tip replaced (in first response to this) however, 48 hours later, it's worn down again and is (slightly) scratching my Paperlike again.

I appreciate that the rougher surface might sand it down, over time, however writing notes on the device last night had warmed it up considerably and I feel this played a part in the changes it's made to it, already.

Are Apple even aware of this? Is this normal/expected behaviour and am I seriously going to have to buy accessories for it to protect it, so this doesn't happen?

Apple is NOT responsible for what their devices do when used with other third party products.

Matte screen protectors are notorious for more quickly wearing down ANY stylus tip.

Purchase a quantity of third party silicone rubber tip covers to cover the tip of Pencil.

These silicone tip covers are designed to be expendable and weqr out and be more easily replaceable and be regularly replaced and are cheaper to use and wear out than the costs of replacement Pencil tips.
