No. 5G is on iPhone 12 and later only.
No. 5G is on iPhone 12 and later only.
Your iPhone 6 supports 4G LTE. Your phone will continue to work until your carrier takes down their LTE towers. Based on the fact that some carriers only removed their EDGE (2G) towers a couple years ago, that likely will not be for years.
EDIT: Just read some news that most major carriers are shutting down 3G this year, but the fact remains that a 4G shutdown would still be quite some time away.

Yes, your iPhone 6 is 4G/LTE capable. The 4G service will be around for many, many years.
