my airpods are connected to someone elses icloud account

when i try to connect my airpods to my phone and view the location it wont let me because it says that thare parid to someone elses icloud

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with your AirPods not appearing in Find My and alerting they're connecting to a different Apple ID. When pairing your AirPods with your iPhone, they automatically show up in your devices. First, reset your AirPods, then set them up again with your iPhone. Here are some guides to help, just in case:
