Ipad Air 3 (2019) black screen (manufactured in April 2019)

If it is a factory failure, the warranty should not be limited to two years. Apple's program speaks of a blank screen, but I suspect it was later changed. On the internet and in Apple itself they also refer to black screens, as is my case. Regardless of everything, Apple's empathy with its customers does not exist, there are no intermediate solutions, they do not take care of anything... Until never to my regret.

Hi Menguti,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

We are all Apple users, like yourself, and would like to help.

Wondering, which iOS version is installed on your iPad Air.

and

If restarting hasn't worked, whether you tried to "force restart" your iPad Air ?

NB: Scroll to "Force Restart" in thus Apple article

Apple Support has another article online:

If your screen is black or has frozen

Seems Apple does want its customers to be happy with the products they purchase.

May be worthwhile giving them the opportunity to evaluate your iPad Air.

It is possible to give Apple the opportunity to fix, rectify, or evaluate the situation / or, if necessary, give a repair estimate.

The Ipad Air 3 has been reset to factory settings and has the latest updates. It works for a few seconds but the screen shakes and goes black. It is a factory fault but instead of going blank the screen goes black: iPad Air (3rd generation) Program for Blank Screen Issue - Apple Support

However, in some countries, the Apple page describes it as a black screen, and that smells very bad to me... iPad Air (3e génération) – Programme pour problème d’écran noir – Assistance Appleple

And on several specialized websites in Spain.

Thanks for trying to help, but I have to throw away my "as good as new" Ipad Air 3 because it has no value to Apple.

Look,

You may not want to read this, but does NOT change the facts.

Nothing we very imperfect human beings think of, design and make will ever be perfect!

Nothing.

Especially ANYTHING electronic that is computerised and needs code to operate.

Computers and personal computing devices CAN and DO fail, at ANY time, for ANY reason/s.

It is not a matter of IF such devices will fail, but WHEN!

Sorry about your iPad, but things can and DO happen.

You are absolutely right, but when there is a manufacturing fault, the company must respond, or at least check the equipment and inform you of what has happened and why it is not covered by warranty. When you buy your new Apple computer, I hope that it doesn't fail you just after the warranty expires... Although you already know that these are things that can happen, regardless of whether it costs 500 or 1000 dollars.
