Can't find OS X El Capitan to update my old MacBook Air

Hi everyone, I have an old MacBook Air. The last version that I have on it is OS X Mountain Lion. I wanted to update it to a newer one but I cant because it asking me to update it first to El Capitan. The reason I can't do it is no OS on appstore and not even on apple website. Please help!
