My iPhone keeps reinstalling apps.

I was on my iPhone when all of a sudden, just randomly, all of my apps started re-installing. You know that grey square with the pie circle that is above an app when you are installing it? Basically what happened here, just that those apps have already been installed a long time ago and it was almost all of my apps that were “reinstalling”. I would really like to know what this was and if anyone had a similar experience

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

I think your talking about apps offloading, than redownloading. By defauslt, to save storage, your phone will offload apps you have not used in a while. They do this to try to save space. I'm assuming thats what it was because when you try to go back into an offloaded app, it has to redownload it. If you want to turn it off, than you should follw these steps.

Head to Settings

Swipe down and tap on iTunes & App Store

Swipe down if needed and look for Offload Unused Apps

Turn this feature off if you’d like to keep all of your apps permanently

Hope this helps!
