Android phone not connecting to hotspot of iPhone 12

My android phone isn’t getting connected to iPhone 12 hotspot. my iPad and an old android tab can connect to the hotspot, but my android phone(oneplus3) cannot.

I tried all the tricks such as

restarting both phones

turning off and on personal hot spot on iPhone, and wifi on android.

tried resetting network settings on iPhone.

i have adequate data and network balance too. I am getting mobile net on iPhone.

what’s the issue here???
