New iPhone OS - no WiFi

My iPhone 12 updated automatically last night to version 15.3.1 This morning when restarting, I see I cannot connect properly to WiFi. There is no designation of WiFi in the upper corner, only cell phone connection. Downloads aren't working properly, nor are social media apps. Has anyone else had this issue?

It seems that this was an issue with Nord VPN. The new update somehow wasn't compatible with the version of Nord on my phone. Nord was continually trying to connect without success, locking up WiFi. After deleting, and then re-installing the Nord app, the problem was resolved.
