When viewing an email from someone - I used to be able to see all messages from that same sender (I am not talking about viewing the thread - I want to see all messages). I used to be able to do this without having to actually identify their email name/address in the search bar and filling that procedure. I used to be able to do it simply in the filter box about the message summary. Can we still do?
I found the solution. If I select the sender email address in the header there is an option to search for other emails from that sender. One click, they all show up. It’san elegant solution. Just a new way to do what formerly was done explicitly.
In the Apple Mail search field:
from:namestring
Shows me all emails from name string, whether that is part of a person's name or email address. If All Inboxes is selected, it will show entries for each Mail account.
Filter Box? Where is that?
Do you mean clicking on the tiny header that say From, Subject, Date Rec'd & such?
Right click on the tiny header, is Name checked?
