Trust store certificates

For the last year I’ve been on a mission, to figure out the source of, how I am being “hacked” I have searched high and low, I have called Apple countless times along with plenty of other agencies, I’ve made several other changes such as change emails, devices, passwords, routers, my Apple ID etc. I’ve been asked several times if I have any “profiles” and the obvious answer was no however my device still seemed to behave otherwise. Recently I started questioning my trust certificates on my phone. Can they be altered and how? Were mine perhaps changes without my knowledge or consent? How can u really tell?

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 15

  1. Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
  2. If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
    1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
    2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you
  3. If you want to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," turn on trust for the certificate. Apple recommends deploying certificates via Apple Configurator or Mobile Device Management (MDM). --> Trust manually installed certificate profiles in iOS and iPadOS ...

In simple terms, The Trust Store contains the digital signatures of issuers of the SSL certificates that are used to encrypt access to websites and email servers. There are billions of SSL certificates in use around the world. They are issued by a relatively small number of agencies and companies (Called Certificate Authorities, or CAs), who, as part of the process of issuing the certificate, verifies that the site is legitimate. When you visit a website the certificate from that site is sent to your browser. Your browser then verifies that the certificate was issued by one of the agencies whose signature is in the Trust Store. If the signature is not in the trust store you see a warning that the site may not be what it seems. The Trust Store is updated as part of an iOS update. It will change whenever the list of certificate authorities changes, which is very rare. The Trust Store version is actually the date and time the trust store contents were last updated. So, for example, version 2021072200 was last updated on July 22, 2021 at midnight.

The trust store version has absolutely nothing to do with security vulnerabilities. If you keep your Mac product updated to the latest version of MacOS or iOS it will be protected against all known vulnerabilities, despite whatever nonsense has been posted in the forum.

thanks so much for the response .. u have no idea how much I appreciate it. To answer your question, NO this is not a corporate account however what I’ve come to know is that my ex boyfriend, fraudulently creates a business account and then added my personal accounts to it without my consent. It’s very much like device management however, there are no obvious profiles on my phone, at one point I would find them and drag them to the trash can but they were no longer there but the behavior of my devices stayed the same… yesterday I happened to notice my contact card was another name and number, and then today that same information has now replaced me as the family organizer in family sharing .. it’s a nightmare .

I’ve been dealing with very similar circumstances for years & I know I’m hacked I’m 99% sure it’s my wife doing it. I’ve looked read researched about everything possible except these certificates & I’ve noticed the number changed a couple of times where it says TRUST STORE VERSION 2021072200 & TRUST ASSET VERSION 15 & on my other devices it’s a different number. I don’t have a clue about what certificates is for it’s my personal devices with a hitchhiker that refuses to get out. I can’t find anyone to help me on this. The normal response is apple can’t get hacked or do a factory reset & im sick of it. I want to know how they keep doing this that way I can get to the WHY
