Invitations for apple music family

Why does it just go to my icloud storage when I click on the apple music invitation in my email? I have checked everything I possibly can and tried to go to settings, name banner, and family sharing. There is still no invitation there only asks me if I want to start family sharing. It is driving me crazy!
