Disconneting an external display
What is the best way to safely disconnect an external display from a MacBook Pro?
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.2
Hi,
Shutdown the MacBook Pro then disconnect external display should works.

The Voltages are very low, and these connections are intended to be plugged and unplugged "live".
why are you asking this question? are you have an issue? what issue?
To disconnect or connect the external display, MacBook should be off ???

That is how I believe it should be (Live plug/unplug) but I see some momentary display distortions happening when I plug/unplug the external display. It lasts no more than a second or two but it made me wonder if I'm doing it the right way.
If it does not last, it is not an issue.
