Iphone 13 Pro freezes mail apps when opening PDF’s

When opening a majority of pdf’s on my 13pro, the mail app freezes up and needs to be force closed. I’ve tried opening the same PDF’s in Apple Mail, Outlook app, Gmail App with the same results. They range in file size (up to 20.0MB). Generally they are multi page construction blueprints. I’ve tried to save the PDF to files on my iPhone and open via that way and still have the same result.
