PowerBeats Pro Terrible Sound Quality and Not Loud Enough

For the price that Powerbeats Pro cost I would think I would get a better sounding pair of earbuds that don't sound as tinny and as flat as these do...when they do work. Most of the time they volume is so low I can't hear anything even when the volume is set to high.

What can Apple offer me in the way of a fix? I can't return them and have already sent them in for repair once. I've read that others have this same concern, so it's with these headphones.

As a long time Apple consumer, as well as stockholder, I am disappointed Apple would offer such an inferior product. It appears the acquisition of Beats wasn't a good one. That's unfortunate.
