printing 4x6 pictures with 4x6 photo paper

i tried to print out a picture from iphoto onto 4x6in photo paper. under "paper size" there wasn't anything that matched a 4x6 so i went to custom and entered in my own height and width. then under print size i put 4x6 again. it doesn't work though, the picture is cut off and not even close to being centered. helpppp!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. First crop your photo to 4 x 6. In the next window select the 4x6 paper size. The print size should default to borderless if you selected 4x6 borderless paper size. That's all you need to do.

Unless your photo is 4x6 then something will be cut off - either crop the photo to 4X6 and then print or select the photo and click print - select the printer, paper size, print size and click customize - in that preview window you can zoom the photo and move it to fit - or right click on it and choose "fit to frame" to use white fill
