can't bold text in Reminders app

can't bold text in Reminders app

I have always had no problem bolding text in the Reminders app. Today it stopped giving me the Bold, Italics, Underline option. I tried rebooting but it didn't help. Thoughts?

The feature that is not working is Bold/Italics/Underline formatting in the Reminders app. It disappeared a few days ago.

An Apple rep told me that feature has been removed from Reminders, though it remains in Notes. I used bolding all the time and this makes no sense at all. Why remove it??

Those of us who are not Apple software engineers and not working on the Reminders app have no way of knowing whether or not a feature was removed due to a good reason. For all we know it was removed to resolve a conflict or exploit. It’s not the end of the world.

This was NOT resolved. I want the formatting option back. There's no reason to have removed it.
