What is the backspace key on a MacBook Air?

Use the Delete Key to delete to the left of the cursor - or backspace as some call it.

Delete and the fn key deletes "forward" which is to the right of the cursor.

Do you have a key that reads "Backspace"? If so, it is a incorrectly labeled, and you should get the proper one put in there: One that reads: "delete" (all lowercase).
