Go to https://Appleid.appple.com and try to log in. If you can’t, and you are sure it isn’t something obvious like shift lock being enabled someone changed your password. The password to what? The password to your Apple ID? Your device passcode? To a social media site? To a password-protected note? To some other web service? To Activation Lock? For better or for worse, there are lots of passwords to forget...
