I have searched the internet but cannot seem to find a way to use my iMac as an external display for my MacBook pro. I even used a thunderbolt cable (USB C) but nothing. Is this something that is currently not available for the new models?

If you run Monterey on both you can AirPlay between them. Otherwise, you can't use one as a monitor.
Thank you, that seemed to work. However the resolution is not the greatest like when using an external monitor. I will take what I can get though, thanks again
