2 ICloud accounts on 1 IPhone

I have a new work IPhone 13 that has been set up with a work Apple ID and ICloud account. I want to get rid of my personal IPhone 12 and transfer my personal ICloud account and apps to the new Iphone. How can I do this?

Three Things Here:

A. Accounts Cannot be Merged:

As of this reply, merging Apple IDs is is not an option. It all has to do with licensing.

B. Recommend this to Apple:

You can recommend to Apple that they make this a feature of Apple accounts.  Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers want, and what changes they can make.

So, Recommend this to Apple:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iTunes - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" fro the "Feedback Type"
  3. Proceed from there as necessary

As an Alternative...

C. Try Family Sharing:

But, using Family Sharing, might work for this:  Family Sharing makes it easy for up to six family members to share App Store purchases and Apple subscriptions, including an iCloud storage plan, and more—all without sharing an Apple ID.  Learn More Here: Set Up Famify Sharing - Apple Support

Hey there Phil_Silverfox,

We understand you're wanting to transfer your iCloud data from one Apple ID to another. We'll be happy to help clarify about this.

There is not a direct method to transfer iCloud data. However, you can still export things like Notes individually.

For your Notes, press and hold on the note you want to copy, then select 'Send a Copy'. Then, you can select the method you want to send it with. Once you receive it, you can copy and paste that into the new account.

Alternatively, you could save it as a PDF. This process, along with the other methods for archiving iCloud data, is explained in detail here: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud

For your apps, you could set up Family Sharing and share those to yourself (from personal Apple ID to your work Apple ID)

Cheers!
