How do I get out of my yearly Apple Music subscription?

I have a yearly subscription. It ends November 2022. I don’t want to stream music anymore. I want my smartphone to have downloaded music only. I’ll agree to anything.

If Apple stands behind its product they should be willing to allow a way out. I’ll pay an early termination fee. Whatever they think it should be.

I talked to someone at Apple support. They said there was nothing they could do. I think if I wrote a letter and mailed it I could accomplish what I wanted.
