2011 imac i3 3.1ghz

Hey, I have a 2011 imac the i3 3.1ghz model... I believe it was made for education purpose.

I was wondering if it supports target display mode? I ask because even tho its 2011 it has a mini display port and not a thunderbolt port.

Thank you.

To answer your question, since it has no Thunderbolt support, it can't be used as a display for another Mac.

  • "The cable connecting the two Mac computers must be a Thunderbolt  or Thunderbolt 2  cable."
