Held power button and volume up on iPhone 7 wrongly instead of power and volume down

Hi, I’ve upgraded my iPhone 7 ios from ios 14.6 to ios 15.3.1 and I read on some site that older devices might run slower after upgrading and it had suggested some solutions and one of them was doing hard reset but it had wrongly said “press and hold power button and volume up” instead of “pressing and holding power button with volume down” so after my phone ios was upgraded I did what that site had said wrongly and pressed and held power button with volume up and waited for phone to reset but it did not happen and icon of volume going up appeared on screen, could holding those keys together have caused an issue or done some different process?
