Apple TV still charging me despite cancelling.

I have cancelled my Apple TV subscription twice now. The first time it was reactivated. The second time it seems to have stuck, my account shows that I don't have a subscritption, but I am still being charged for it.

I have tried to follow the advice on another post and used the 'report a problem' link, but this only lets you report a problem for current subscriptions. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about this short of taking Apple to court.

Can someone please advice.

If you have no subscriptions on your Apple ID account, and you are still being charged for a subscription through Apple, then ask yourself the following questions.

  • Do you have more than one Apple ID account? Check for subscriptions and purchases on each account.
  • Does anyone else have the possibility to use your payment method?
  • Are you the organizer of a Family Sharing group with Purchase Sharing active?

If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support. The billing statement will mention the merchant but not the product. Any purchase or subscription could look the same.

See your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and more - Apple Support. Each charge to your account will be specified in the purchase history. Subscriptions and other content purchases.

See your subscriptions overview - Apple. Each active subscription on your account will be listed.

You can contact Apple, but they can only act for your account, not someone else’s account.

If someone else is using your payment method, then contact your financial institution.
