Worried bout possible scam email

Hi I recieved an email to say my payment needs updating for my 0.99c per mth payment that I pay for extra storage in my phone I’ve never received an email like this b4 is it a scam

It is hard to determine whether that email is scam or not from your post. There is one way to double check whether your payment method needs updating or not.

Open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ Payment & Shipping: Here, if your payment needs any updating, then you will see a notification. If everything looks in order, then that email may be a phishing/scam email.
