iPhone 12 is having an issue with the wireless charger

My sons iPhone 12 serial no. DX***DXY is having an issue with the wireless charging. It won’t work on any of the wireless chargers. He had the special iPhone case with the ring in it and it’s still not working. What is the issue. We have tried 5 different chargers, with and without a case on and it’s still not working.
