Planning for the switching Apple ID from China to a new country. Does Apple take care of the transfer of all my iCloud data?
I am planning to re-locate from China at some stage. My apple ID is currently set to the China region, hence all my data is stored on Chinese mainland. Accessing this data will be at best difficult and at worst impossible from outside of China. When I switch my ID to my new country of residence, will Apple take care of the transfer of all my iCloud data from https://www.icloud.com.cn to https://www.icloud.com? or will I have to manually download all data and then re-upload it after switching my ID to a different country? As an Apple user, I would hope that Apple takes care of this and it is seamless to the user. I would appreciate an answer on this as it will affect my decision to purchase additional iCloud storage in China.
