I can't add a person to the People album. When I open a photo of the person that I want to add and then tap the info button there is no thumbnail with a question mark on the photo of the person. Any thoughts?
If there is no thumbnail, Photos could not detect a face on the photo. Either the face detection has not yet finished or the face cannot be recognised as a face, because it is too small or it is seen from an unusual direction. Then you cannot add the person on an iPhone or iPad, only on a Mac you can mark the face manually.
