I think when my phone updated, I lost all my bookmarks in Safari. Any ideas on recovery?

I also thought my bookmarks were gone.

But this morning when I started to create a new one…poof…there they were. Screen was in favorites and before I couldn’t do a back arrow to the bookmarks. Don’t quite know what happened. But try making a new bookmark and see if they show up as a destination.

I did not have the back-up to cloud setting turned on that Ozzie_1910 is showing. Probably not a bad idea, if you are not against the cloud. Some people are.

If you had this option off on your iPhone iCloud settings unfortunately there isn’t way to get it back because it wasn’t backed up into iCloud , iPhone does ICloud backups before updating
