I need Mac Pro password
I never log out as I am the only person using my Mac! However, I cannot update my computer without the login password!

Your Mac does not store your login password "in the clear" anywhere. Your Mac does not even know how long the password is. Only the encrypted version is stored. There is no possible way it can, "cough it up."
After entering, and encrypting what you entered, all it can tell you is ¿was that it or not?

Your only recourse is to reset the password by other means, such as through your Apple-ID, and make certain you have a method for recalling it, such as writing it down somewhere that you consider "a safe place".
