What is the Administrator password? I don't recall ever setting one. I live alone; sole user of this computer. I chose to bypass the password when logging on.

How can I recover a password (not my Apple ID password, but rather the "Administrator" password and/or the password used to start up my system after it's been powered down, or are they the same)? The only password I remember and have a record of is my Apple ID password. I have to recover the password so I can download Monterey.
