Apple ID password reset.

Hi guys, my iPhone was stolen last Saturday so I had to buy a new iPhone, the biggest issue is that I can’t remember my Apple ID password. Right now I’m using a different one that I created so I could get access to the new phone. I’ve tried resetting numerous time and apple just keeps sending me emails that there are security checking and that I’ll receive an email once they have checked my details. But it has been over a week now since I’ve email them and still can’t reset my password.

has anyone had this problem before? What can I do to get my Apple ID back?
