I created a very large album of several hundred photos. I would like to reorder them in a special order (not oldest, etc). Other than moving them row, by row,, is there a faster, more direct way similar to cut and past that I can use?

The easiest way to organise the photos in an album is to split the album temporarily into several albums, one album for each page or section of the travelogue. Group the albums for each chapter of the travelogue with folders. You can easily drag photos between albums and arrange the photos in the albums quickly, if the number of photos in each album is small and you can see all photos of the album at once on the display.

Having to work with an album with hundreds of photos is horrible.
