Absolutely demented trying to attach photos as jpeg files to photos from my iPhone 12 without embedding the photo into the context of the email help I’m ripping my hair out at present please help .

ALL photos sent by email are attachments. That is the only way photos are sent. Some email apps will indicate a location the image should be viewed in the email, but it is still an attachment and any competent email client program should be able to save the attachments regardless of where they appear in the received email.
