How do I downgrade from iCloud+ to iCloud?
I upgraded from iOS 13 to iOS 15 on my iPhone 6S then under settings, it said something about iCloud+ as a menu item that just said "icloud+". After tapping it once, it then upgraded me to iCloud+ showing me a success screen. Is there a way to downgrade back?
Also am I charged any extra money each month for having iCloud+ rather than iCloud?

You got it right.
iOS 15 came with new iCloud plans:
> prices didn’t change, but what is included with a paid iCloud plan did.
> With an iCloud + plan, regardless which one you chose, new features are included such as Private Relay or Hide my Email.
To sum up:
you do pay for iCloud —> you have an iCloud + plan
you don’t —> you have an iCloud plan (5GB)

I think there might be some confusion and ambiguity over the terminology change of iCloud.
To be clear, is it true that in 2020 the free plan and paid plan was called "iCloud" but in 2021, the free plan is called "iCloud" while the paid plan got its name changed to "iCloud+" ?
