Disconnect one device from iCloud

Hello. I am using 2 devices (MacBook Pro and MacBook Air), both connected to my iCloud. I wish to disconnect only one device from the cloud, without compromising the other's access to iCloud. I am a bit worried because both share one ID. What should I do, please?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.13

Sign with account credentials at appleid.apple.com

In security section , you will see two Macs the serial number are written on it , decide which Mac is to be removed , click on it and remove from the account .
