My face id stopped working while i was still under warranty. Unfortunately, i dont live in the US so it costs me a fortune to send the phone and get it back, apple should have international warranty on iphones just like they do on macs.

Cellular devices sold in different regions of the world need to support different cellular bands depending on the region they are being used in.

This makes servicing them internationally problematic as parts and replacements may not be available.
