Shared Calendar Notifications - Apple Watch

Todd7446 asked the below question on 9/7/2021. Apple responded on 9/8/2021 with a potential solution. I have the same problem, but the solution apple provided hasn't fixed this issue for me. Any additional insight?

Todd7446 9/7/2021: Several people at work have shared their Outlook calendars with me. On the Watch app of my phone, I have notifications set to Mirror on my iPhone and Calendars set to Custom. For the custom calendar setting, I have unchecked all of the shared calendars. I never receive calendar/meeting alerts for these shared calendars on my iPhone, but I get notifications of every single meeting and appointment from them on my Watch. How can I turn off these meeting/appointment notifications for all shared calendars on my Watch?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
