I have just submitted my new credit card's information to update my payment method. The old one was cancelled by my bank because of attempted fraud. Will Apple automatically charge the new card for my Apple i-cloud subscription?

If you added a new valid payment method on your Apple ID, then you should be able to delete your former credit card.
