Can I repair my iPhone battery after 5 months of use?

Is it possible to repair my iPhone battery when it’s at 98% after 5 months of use ?

It doesn't need to be replaced yet it will need to be replaced if it reaches 80 or less.

You might be able to convince Apple to let you pay $69 for a battery replacement. They won't replace the battery for free that's for sure. And if you do pay for a new battery, it's Battery Health after five months will go down, and possibly more than 2%. The reality is Battery Health declines with every full cycle battery charge and there is no way to stop it. It's what batteries do, ALL BATTERIES. In fact, a decline of 1% - 2% decline/month is normal and expected. So a 2% decline in 5 months is actually quite good.


If Battery Health dips to 80% or lower in the first 12 months, you would have a warranty claim. As it is, you don't and it really would provide no benefit to pay to get a new battery in your phone, when the one have is operating better than expected.
