Problem with Photo Booth MacBook Air 2019

I started having this problem a few days ago with Photo Booth. After I record a video, the little square becomes gray and I am not able to press the play button. I've noticed this usually happens when the video is more than a minute longer. I thought it might have something to do with the space but I have no more than 10 recorded videos and they are not longer than 2 minutes each.


Anyone knows what the problem might be and how to solve it ?

Hello rominacalleris,


Have you tried restarting your Mac by clicking Apple menu () > Restart, to see if you're able to play your videos in Photo Booth afterwards?


To further test the issue, try recording a new video in Photo Booth and then try playing it. Does that video work? Knowing the results of that test would help in narrowing this issue down.


Also, have you tried opening the video in the Photos app? Give that a try if you haven't already, and let us know how it goes.
