paypal, apple and my son

i tried to search to see if anyone else has had this problem but i didnt know how to ask it...my special needs son has a long awaited iphone 13 and he has been purchasing games, songs, ringtones through my paypal and i cant figure out how or how to stop it. he doesnt know that he's (I am) having to pay for the things he wants so he's not being irresponsible. i am the one who cant figure out how its happening or what measures to take to install a security code for purchases or whatever. help please! we are at $130 in 3 weeks!

If you use Family Sharing, you can turn on parental controls remotely as well as Ask to Buy.


Otherwise, yes, you will need physical access to the iPhone.


The only way for your son to be using your card, is either knowing it and adding it to his Apple ID, or if using Family Sharing all purchases are billed to the Family Organizer. It could not have magically been added there unless he's using your Apple ID, or knows the card number and CVV number.
