Have a message that I stupidly hit 'reply all' and it won't send. However, I cannot move the message on the screen to where I can access the put in outbox or edit it. It's just sitting there.

Ah...I thought that worked - I disconnected from the internet and went into the Outbook and deleted the email message. I thought, 'all good'. However, the message with the 299 email addresses came back. I have to use Force Quit to get out of Mail. I am thinking that I have to go into one of the hidden files to find this. Or try the method you suggested again?
Disconnect from the Internet then try deleting the stuck email from the outbox.
I should add that Mail appears to otherwise work properly - I just need to figure out how to get rid of this annoying email.
